Africa is the most vulnerable continent to climate change impacts and is also prone to a wide variety of environmental and human-induced disasters.
The PATRA Foundation understands this challenge and aims to offer support to African countries by promoting innovative solutions that are inclusive and responsive while respecting local norms and cultures
To facilitate the development of sustainable business ventures, PATRA foundation supports private sector players develop sustainable business models that safeguard the natural capital and at the same time create jobs and products for the African Populace. We also create platforms that aim at linking businesses within and without the African borders to explore and exploit synergies towards enhancing their business processes, practices, and objectives.
PATRA Foundation recognizes the potential role that Agriculture can play in transforming African economies towards a more prosperous future. To ensure this potential is achieved, we support the African food systems to be more productive, inclusive, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of the African populace.
Our intended result is increased income from agriculture for 3 million households across 10 countries in Africa.
